For sale from my private collection; an original drawing by Chas Laborde. The scene depicts a lively street view with allied occupation forces in front of the barracks of 'Hoche'. Signed lower right 'Mayence (Mainz), C. Laborde'.

An etched adaptation of this illustration as part of 10 colour plates in Pierre Mac Orlan. Malice. Paris : H. Jonquieres & Cie, 1924.

Condition is very good. Comes with the frame.
